Faroud Asgari, Deputy Minister of Economy and Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), has issued a directive to customs managers and officials across the country emphasizing the strict enforcement of customs regulations and procedures.

Key points of the directive include:

  • Customs formalities must only be carried out by the owner of goods or their legal representative.
  • Any attempt to process customs declarations through unauthorized individuals or intermediaries is strictly prohibited.
